okay, i know i’m like a “feminist” or whatever, but let’s be honest here: ladies, if you don’t shave your legs, you can’t complain if i think you’re a “person”. if you can’t take the time to take a razor and denude yourself of some of your mammalian characteristics, i’m going to be forced to conclude that you’re some kind of “free human in the world, helpless and nauseated by your own radical freedom”
i mean, men have to shave their faces, you know? men have to physically assert their agency in the tumultuous void of the human experience, too. its a question of equality
Jinora - I Feel Him Blessing Me, by Aurora Lynne
I decided to draw Jinora with her head shaved, when she just got her tattoos. I saw a picture of Sinead O’Connor and it gave more feels than it should… I hope you enjoy the result, sweeties, I’m really proud of this one.
[Imageset: Nine ally cookie photos. “Doesn’t hit women” “Has a gay friend” “Has female friends” “My mom works!” “Meets minimum standards of decent human” “Not a rapist” “Not a racist” “Works with women” “Thinks women are people”]
do you want a fucking cookie?
Oh yeah, this needs to be reblogged for future reference.
I love all of these. Definitely going to save for use in the future.
For future reference
Following my general rule to investigate anyone who looks like they belong in a Hobbit movie, I came upon this man. After I took his photo, he handed me a card. It said:
Professor of Limerick Infliction at Gotham University
A student-free university encouraging S.L.O.T.H.
The whole experience further justified my instinct to investigate anyone who looks like they belong in a Hobbit movie.
“Girls my size always get crap for it. It’s hard work every single day to keep that pervasive attitude out of your heart. At some point, I just didn’t bother thinking about the people who couldn’t see past it, and decided to focus instead on where my body and I are limitless. Sure, I can’t squeeze into a size 2, but I can dance up a storm and I am the softest to cuddle.”
In what I think is a weird coincidence, this pin-up photo blog I follow happens to be featuring Sara, who has a blog I’ve been enjoying for a while here. So I’m reblogging for that and the sentiments above - just bought a mirror for my apartment and have been feeling bad about my size ever since, haha. Thanks, Sara! Check both blogs out, highly recommended.
